Aims & Scope

Aims
Synergy: International Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies (SIJMDS) aims to:
  • Promote high-quality, original research in the core areas of social sciences, humanities, education, management, economics, and closely related interdisciplinary fields.
  • Encourage scholarly work that integrates theoretical, empirical, and applied perspectives to address contemporary social, economic, educational, and policy challenges.
  • Provide an international platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners to foster dialogue and collaboration across related disciplines within the social sciences and humanities.
  • Contribute to academic discourse that informs evidence-based policy, governance, education reform, economic development, and societal progress at regional and global levels.
Scope
SIJMDS welcomes original, unpublished manuscripts that demonstrate academic rigor, originality, and relevance. The journal focuses on interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary studies primarily within the following interconnected areas:
  • Economics and Development Studies (including economic policy, development economics, and regional/global economic issues)
  • Management, Business, and Organizational Studies (including business administration, organizational behavior, and management practices)
  • Education and Pedagogical Studies (including teaching/learning processes, educational policy, and learner engagement)
  • Political Science, Public Policy, and Governance (including political theory, public administration, governance structures, and policy analysis)
  • Sociology and Social Research (focusing on social structures, change, and empirical social studies)
  • History and Cultural Studies (including historical analysis, cultural dynamics, and heritage-related research)
  • Language, Literature, and Humanities (including linguistics, literary criticism, and broader humanistic inquiries)
  • Library and Information Science (including information management, digital libraries, and knowledge organization)
The journal particularly encourages submissions that bridge these areas—for example, economic perspectives on education policy, management approaches to governance, or cultural/historical contexts in social and economic development. SIJMDS accepts various scholarly formats, including:
  • Original research articles
  • Review papers
  • Case studies
  • Conceptual/theoretical contributions
All submissions must be original, not under consideration elsewhere, and undergo double-blind peer review to ensure quality, objectivity, and ethical standards.
