New Policy Announcement: AI Tools Usage in Manuscript Preparation

To uphold academic integrity and ensure transparency in scholarly publishing, our journal is implementing a formal AI Usage Policy beginning with the September 2025 issue.

Permitted Uses

Authors may use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly, QuillBot) for:

• Language editing and grammar correction • Formatting assistance • Idea generation and rephrasing for clarity

Note: AI must not be used to generate original scientific content, analyze data, or provide interpretations.

Disclosure Requirement

If any AI tool is used during manuscript preparation, authors must disclose:

• The name of the tool • The purpose of its use • The extent of AI involvement

Disclosures should be placed in the Acknowledgements section or a dedicated AI Usage Disclosure at the end of the manuscript.

Author Responsibility

Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of all manuscript content.
AI tools cannot be credited as authors.

Prohibited Uses

The following are not permitted:

• AI-generated data, figures, or images (unless explicitly allowed and labeled) • Automated literature reviews • Writing original scientific findings or interpretations • Using AI to assist with peer review

AI Content Detection

Submitted manuscripts may be screened using AI-detection tools.
If a manuscript contains more than 30% AI-generated content, based on detection and editorial judgment, it will be rejected without review.

Non-Compliance

Failure to comply with these guidelines or deliberate concealment of AI use may lead to:

• Manuscript rejection • Retraction of published articles • Institutional notification in cases of serious ethical misconduct

This policy will apply to all submissions intended for the September 2025 issue and beyond.
